- The 2009 season is just around the corner! So what's new for the 09 race for the cup?
2009 marks the first time the NFRA will award TWO championship Cups. The F200 pilots will be racing for the 4th F200 Cup and, for first time, we will award a World Formula Cup.
Also new for '09 is we've added a local option to the Burris rules that allows limited work on the crankshaft to enhance engine longevity. Check out the NFRA Rules Package link for details.

12-11-05 Contract for the Prairie City repavement project has been awarded! Completion deadline has been extended beyond the original 60 days. The asphalt compound being used requires daytime temps in the 70s and night temps (ideally) below 55. The plan now is to shoot for an April completion date. Gary has advised the NFRA that no races will be scheduled from the end of March until early May. The entire project is should be completed in 4 days. The BIGGEST concern is the weather of course. Let's hope we don't have one of those really wet springs!!
11-30-05 Prairie City repavement project goes out to bid! Contractor should be selected by1/1/06. Contractor has 60 days to complete the project.

The NFRA pits are quiet after Saturday practice in Redding. Nice thing about Redding, practice all day then head next door to the drag strip to watch some runs with ESPN coverage.
